School Supply Drive
The 2011 School Supplies Drive was a rousing success with Kids Charity serving over 3,300 children!!
We had a total of 76 locations that served as collection sites which included 14 Camden Apartment Communities and 11 AAA locations. Special thanks to USAA, VT Seva, Camden, AAA, Elsevier/Gold Standard and Hillsborough County Fire Fighters for their especially generous donations. Walgreen’s also allowed Kids Charity to set up collection locations at their locations in Plant City and Citrus Park during 8 separate days during August.
Backpacks and supplies were donated to the following agencies: Eckerd Community Alternatives, Camelot Care/Independent Living – Hillsborough County, Camelot Care/Independent Living – Pinellas/Pasco Counties, Kinship Care, Lazydays Center for Youth Development, Guardian Ad Litem of Hillsborough County and Diversion of HKI.
Thank you to everyone who donated supplies or gave monetary donations, conducted drives, assisted at the Walgreen’s locations, picked up donations or helped sort and distribute donation.
Without all of you, our School Supplies Drive would not have been the success it was!

Kids Charity of Tampa Bay provides School Supplies for abused, abandoned and neglected children in the Tampa Bay area through our annual School Supplies Collection Drive. This community initiative brings individual and group donors together to “Help Us Fill the Wagon” with the tools that our children need to be successful in school.

Purchase School Supplies and bring them to one of our Drop-off locations (Listed Below) by Monday, August 8th.

There is no funding for School Supplies for foster children. Our children are counting on YOU!
There are over 5.900 foster children in the Tampa Bay area right now.
Last year, Kids Charity of Tampa Bay provided over 1,900 children with a stuffed backpack. This year our goal is 4,000 stuffed backpacks.

We can purchase backpacks in bulk for $4/each. Cash donations are needed in order to do this.
